is something quite calming about the devastation imagery populating
nowadays mainstream film and T.V. series, alongside desolate places, and
post-apocalyptic contexts, they concur to inform more and more the
visual synthesis needed in order to relate with a vast audience. |
Perhaps
we can find the roots to this, among the likes of Wim Wenders and the
70's and 80's film-making, where different motivations(war) allowed for a meditative yet deserted landscape to thrive.
